I just bought a brand new 2000 F-150 with 5.4l. Is it possible for me to get an engine with the pistion slap problem or are they all completely resolved in 2000?

What is the piston slap problem that people are talkign about?? The only odd noise mine makes is for the first few minutes when I start it in the morning, when it is cold, it sounds like bad knocking for 1 to 2 minutes....
