Volant Cold Air Kit

Everyone seems to have the their opinion on the best FIPK, but some don't like them because of the heat taken in. I like the Volant cold air kit, but I want to know if anyone has one? How does it give you more horsepower when the opening seems to be through the small factory hole in the fender? It claims 15-18 hp just like the rest of them. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Dan

I installed one on a friend's 97 Yukon and it made a big difference. The cold-air kit is made from a special plastic that does not heat soak easily, unlike other metal cold-air kits. The small opening is the only source of cold air; therefore, that's where the air filter breathes from. Also, the air filter is enclosed so as to only breathe the cold air, unlike others which leave the air filter open. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
