Post Anyone converted to propane?

Just thought I'd find out if anyone here has converted their truck to be propane powered. If so, how much did it cost, and what did you think of it?

Cool

Don't do it, my dad owns a propane company and I can tell ya that when you run it off propane that it wont run well, not enough power. We have some older trucks that run off of propane and they run ok, but when you switch it from gas to propane the difference in power is like night and day. If you had an older truck it would probably be ok, but with these newer trucks it's not really worth it. But good luck to ya.

I really wish Ford would have offered a diesel engine in the F-150 when I bought my '98. Looks like I'll have to wait until 2003 :-(
