1994 was the first year Ford started using the MA system on the 302 in the F-150. It also gained 10hp that year. So I would take a stab in the dark and say that you would gain at least 10hp, I lot of people convert over to ma because they want to do some serious inside work. So if you don't plan to do any inside work, it hardly justifies the price.

I don't know for sure about the truck 5.0, but when Ford converted the Mustang from S/D to MAF, it actually LOST some performance in stock trim. Mass Air potentially runs a bit cleaner and allows a lot more modification than the S/D system. Unless you're going to change the cam and/or heads or add a supercharger, forget about converting to mass air. S/D will run OK with a cat-back, headers, a chip upgrade, aftermarket ignition, underdrive pulleys, an FIPK, and possibly even 1.7 rocker arms.

How much farther than that do you want to go?

Question Speed Density To Mass Air

I was wondering if it would help my 1993 F-150 (302)'s Performance if i converted it over to Mass Air. I found a kit to do it. it is by SVO and runs $675.00 I would like to hear some feedback thank you very much.
