Post Super Charger or 4.10 gears what would be best

What would be the best bang for the buck? I live at 6000ft and the trucks a real dog, even with my mods. Thinking of a Powerdyne SC or 4.10's there about the same price, give or take a few hundred bucks, since my trucks 4x4. What are your opinions?

Thanks in advance
Darren

Darren Dude,
This is just my opinion but the 4.10s made a huge difference in my 99.The new gears allowed the motor to run where it makes power. As i'm sure you know, small displacement engines need higher rpm to make power so putting in the 4.10s was a step in the right direction. Also, your truck is new and the dealer WILL give you a hard time on warranty work. And yes, I am familiar with the Magnusson-Moss warranty act, but you have to understand that they are qoing to question all claims so you could be giving up your powertrain warranty.Just my opinion though.I like the 4.10s, but in a perfect world you could have both

supercharger ! Remember with a 410 your rpm's will always be higher even during normal driving conditions. Which means your gas mileage will suffer and you are wearing out your engine and drive train sooner. I would never go more then a 373. The supercharger will be there when you need it and it won't effect gas mileage only when you put your foot in it. You don't need a 410 on the highway or just driving around town. Your rpm's will always be higher and what's that good for. I had a 97 f150 with a powerdyne and would recommend the supercharger over the 410 any day. I recommend a supercharger but not the powerdyne. (had some bad luck with the powerdynes bearings and other stuff)

Darren Dude- I have the 4.10 gears. In the beginning my choice was the gears for I only have 2wd. In your case the supercharger is the way to go. The gear swap is excellent off road and around town however it doesn't create HP. and thats what you need. Go for the supercharger!!.. My next project is..... A SUPERCHARGER... Good luck and enjoy your truck. Capt.

You live at 6000'. The air is too thin for your engine to make horsepower. The ONLY solution is a SuperCharger.
I lived at 7000' (Jamestown, CO) for 14 years. I spent more money on engine mods than I paid for my car. It was worth it. I never changed the gears.
Good luck.
