mustang s/c on a 5.4

I have a 96 mustang GT. It has an SVO (eaton) supercharger and an SVO intake manifold. I'm thinking of buying a new f-150 with a 5.4. I want to put my supercharger on my new 5.4. My question is, can I use my intake manifold off the mustang since it is a 4.6 and the 4.6 and the 5.4 are alot alike I think.

Also, how can the lightnings have intercoolers if the s/c mounts directly to the manifold.

Cool

HI!... SUPERSONIC491 : Your current supercharger will NOT bolt onto a 5.4, because the 4.6 has a shorter deck height than a 5.4. This means the distance between the heads is greater on the 5.4. As for the LIGHTNING's intercooler : The intercooler is located in the intake manifold right under the supercharger compressor it'self. The charger blows it's air through the intercooler. The small radiator in the front valance of the LIGHTNING is caller a AFTERCOOLER. Hope this helps you out.

Unhappy correct

Yes Neal is correct... You are going to have to sell it to buy another one, soory dude. This time buy a vortech or a ATI pro-charger. These will kick the s*%t out off a Eaton.... no offense.
