engine sluggish
I have a 1990 ford bronco with the 5.8 liter engine. The car is very sluggish when the engine is warmed up. When i press the gas, the engine revs up, but the car doesn't move forward like it should. In the mornings, when the engine is cold, it feels pretty powerful. I can get the tires to squeel, but not when the engine is warmed up. Is it a transmission problem(e40d) or a sensor problem(coolant or ACT). Please help!
I don't like to flame but this is on the F150online home page:
Welcome bluebronco, I hope you find your answer. I let a co-worker look at your posting, he has an 89bronco. Sorry, no suggestions.

Howdy Bronco,
You might want to check your tranny fluid level, also has your OD light on your gear shifter been flashing.

Have you changed the tranny fluid or filter lately. It may also be a bad torque converter. 1990 should not have an OD light on the shifter, OD should be one of the positions that the shifter gets shifted in to. No electronic trannies in 1990.
Actually the OD off is on the right hand side of the dashboard.
