Eggs??
This afternoon I changed the distributor in my wifes 98 explorer and after I started the engine there was rotten smell of eggs, well, it smell like that and a touch of alcohol any one knows what could have happened.

You usually spell eggs when the catalytic converter goes. Do you have your timing set right so you aren't dumping unburnt fuel out the exhuast?
Or did you drop some plastic or rubber in the engine compartment?

Boy is Raoul still around, I have been away for a while I forgot about him, nope just changing the disdributor, but got the wires wrong, still giggling of Raoul..
