air intake for v6
Hello to all my fellow f-150 riders...My question is where or who can i see for a airaid system for my 97' v6 manual f-150?If not airaid something similar....lookin to soop up the engine a little..Everything that i see is always 4.6, and 5.4...If anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated...

hey, don't think there is much hope for us 4.2L owners. airaid was supposed to have a kit for our trucks back in late november, but last time i checked, they still were waiting on one more part. hotrodsix (i believe that is his name) has a really good set-up on his V6. might want to search for some of his posts. oh yeah, just remebered that you can get the V6 pulley through the online store, but you'll have to e-mail roger, because there is not yet a picture. might see some decent results using the pulley and superchip. i have only added a k&n filter and a flowmaster, and didn't notice any improvements. from what i have read the biggest improvement has come from adding a 4.10 (or higher) rear. best of luck . .

The Airaid unit for the V6 trucks is just about finished! They got the part in and right now they are finishing up on the instructions, look for it to be ready to sell by next week!We will put it up in the store as soon as we know! Email me if you have any questions......
