yeah well... my fan is in peices... and not even a junk yard will sell me just the fan, only the entire assembly and even then the cheapest they'll go is $100!!!

I'm more than likely gonna buy me another new one for 140 from houston performance again.... then I'll have an extra motor just incase it ever goes out.

why do fathers have to "Know" everything, then screw up your nice new fan blade that cost mucho money???

You really want to know?

It is the same garbage everyday here. Same questions asked, same answers given. Everyone thinks that they have discovered something new. No one can even use the search feature. You ask what that is? Well no suprise. How many times have we hashed out electric fans, torsion bars, which shocks are best?, how to change spark plugs?, what is the best exhaust? will 33s fit on a stock 4x4?, how do I get more power?, why does my doors crack, my roof have cracks, why does my truck suck **** when I still have a warranty?, etc.......

Need more? Probably not. You know, if you have a warranty, go take it to your dealer. If they dont give you the love you are looking for, take it to another dealer. If that does not work, then climb the ladder. geez!

So when is the tech/FAQs going to be updated here? When the webmaster gets a new truck or a 4x4? That would solve a lot of the same questions daily and actually make the tech boards contain more "new" post, not post that someone decides to post before searching.

But the real thing that gets me is people asking questions but having their own answer. I see that about 80% of the time on these F150 boards. maybe it is the older demographics of owners or what not, but people are not open to being wrong or being given suggestions when they are not down with their predetermined answer. Then it resorts to I have been driving cars before you were in diapers things, you dont know jack, blah blah blah. Well if you ask a question, expect any sort of answers. Good, bad or ugly. IF you dont like it, ignore it. IT is free advice, be thankful that people actually reply back to you.

I am sure that most of think this is referring to the 0-60 post, but that was just the breaking point there. For gods sake, you ask what 0-60 is in a truck when you have a mustang in the garage so you dont bite more off than you can chew? Are we that immature? Street racing for one, 2 can you not search online by yourself to find out that a Toyota camary is faster than a 4x4 truck, 3 who cares with a 5L stang for your other car, 4 if you are that worried about it buy a lightning, sell the stang and the truck to make one vehicle.

Just the same stuff every day basically. Also the little signatures with the 4mb pictures in them is out of control. I have cable, but feel sorry for anyone on dialup waiting 5-10 minutes cause someones sig has a huge 'look at my truck' picture in it. People think more of themselves than others there.

I would be nice to get some updates to the pages and others doing their own footwork and searching. You will find that not a lot of questions are that new since the truck is relatively unchanged for 5 + years now.

There is my beef. I said a long time ago that I would not post tech and there are very few that I do post to these days compared to about 1 year ago here. There is my reasons. Thanks for those who helped answer my questions in the past and future and hope that I have helped a few along the way. Still if you have questions you want to ask me, email me.

If the same questions weren't asked again and again, this site would have reached nirvana years ago. There would be no site. One thing I am sick of, is the constant bickering. It hasn't happened in a month or two, but for about 6 months there, there was an arguement thread going in almost every forum, lol. All I know is you used to be helpful and enthusiastic, and now you seem like your sick of this place. Oh well,,,,,98

I wonder why

'It was a all day install however'
Why did it take all day? That is what I am most curious about.

I too did the fan thing. Big improvement revs faster & I can hear my exhaust more betterer. LOL
All the mods I have done to my truck have come from this board. Doing a search is the best way.

Matt Take it easy. Maybe take some time off & get away from the board.

I sure hope not ! and one more thing I do believe we all have the optoin of reading the posts here or not.... Go D-Backs 2001 World Series Champions !!

Which fan did you install and what type of controller did you use?
How much did all this cost? (not including the refreshments during the install)
