I was doing some Research on my new truck, and found out I have the 3.73 Non-LS Axle , The page I found that told me this was that this axle is a F-250 axle is this true and How???


The code gave on the Plate in the door is (26)

The Vehicle is as Follows

Please Help me figure this out it is confusing me!!!

i amy be wrong here, but i believe that the 5.4 f-150's and f-250's share the same rear-end. the 4.2 and the 4.6 share the 8.8" rearend. im not sure though, someone want to correct me if im wrong?

 

That's what I thought as well. I checked mine and I have the 10.25 rear. You check the metal tag on the diff. cover. Mine has 10.2.
