Tornado
Has anybody used or know anybody who has had experience with the Tornado vortex generator?
Is it a wasted 70 dollars or is it worth the cost?

Ever heard of the AIRAID or K&N FIPK? Its the same thing, but costs less. Im ify on getting one {WMS} because it takes air from the fender wall, and you have to be careful with that. It can suck up water/sand/debris and can cause harm to the engine. The K&N and Airaid cost more, but doesnt take air from fender wall.

Snow: the tornado was talked about at length here a while back. General consensus: piece of crap, waste of money. Do a search here for tornado and read!!!
I see you already have the K&N filter, that's all I put on my last truck too (as far as air intake goes). Of course if you want more, check out the online store here. Start looking into a muffler cat-back. I put on a Flowmaster (a loud one
) Loved it. Then if you still want more power add a Superchip. Read the computer chips section on that. These are the 3 best things you can do to give you the most bang for your money

No, its not going to suck water through the side wall. Remember, the factory air induction is hooked to the side wall too and it does not suck in water, but it does get some dust...thats why you have a filter.
The reason the WMS is better than the stock system is due to air flow. The stock intake pipe is crumpled where the WMS is smooth and allows the air to flow better. WMS is better than Airaid and K&SFIPK because it doesnt suck in the hot engine compartment air.
