Cool squeak Squeak!

Yes,

My belt squeaks in the morning, and only in the morning.
Now that we have been getting near 0 temp up here in
Ottawa Canada, my belt has started to squeak..

Also my horn only has one tone, it used to have 2 tones
harmonized but now doesn't.
I think that the connection is most likely dirty as I was
doing quite a bit of off roading this summer.
If anyone has any other suggestions that would
be great.

Peace!

Mor

1) Your belt is old... not useless. If you hate the noise, you should replace the betl.. otherwise, you won't be left stranded if you don't replace the belt. However, the noise is a warning to replace the belt in the coming weeks so itself won't be left "liable."

2) We have two horns. Two is louder than one.. for some reason is audio science... replace one of the "broken" horns.

97 F150 4.6 4X4 SC SB.............my belt squeaks too. Even the new one I just put on! Had horn problem too. Blowing fuses. Took the horns (2) off and had tested them. One wasn't working at all and kept blowing the horn fuse. Took the non functioning one off and tossed it. So what I only have one horn. Colder in Edmonton than it is in Ottawa Tweaker. Have 4 inches of snow on the ground right now. Try some belt dressing.

Pappy you bastard!!!
Just kidding man,
I am soooo jealous , I just bough a new sled
and I am so horny to take it out...
Yamaha sx 700..

ANyway, my truck has 25000kms, my belt should not need replacing,
nor should it require a new horn..
I think that the sound of one horn sounds gay..
I want both of them back..

Sounds like it is time for a trip to the dealership. One of my horns quit working and the service dept replaced under warranty. They can check/service the belt as well.

BTW, abs stands for anti-lock braking system.
