Has anyone ever had this problem. I have a 99 F150 w/5.4l. Last night it ran fine to work. This morning it won't even try to turnover not to mention the radio doesn't work now. The lights come on everything else works. Engine just wont start and radio won't play tunes. Friend of mine showed me how to start it by shorting across two post on the starter relay and we think that is what went bad but, why is the radio dead too? Any ideas?

Change the starter relay out and check your battery cables. they may be loose, or they may be corroded and bad. That should take care of it. I hope it helps a little, anyway!
