Hey guys I'm shopping for new wires. Bottom line- which are the best, which ones fit, etc. Alot of the product listings are for the Mustang gt ot the Cobra. Which one of these cars have the coil packs like my 4.6? And where should I get new looms?

 

Accell makes a perfect fit set, not sure of price, they seem to be a lot of people on this site's favorite. I am pretty sure that you can pick up the looms at the same place you would get the wires, I would think so anyway. Good luck, and I am sure that someone who knows more will post after me, I'm just a guitar player, man, but there are some really smart people on here who know way more about wires than I do.

 

I got my Taylor 8mm wires from Summit for $80 or so. Fit in the stock looms. Very satisfied with them. Just order them by application. As to which wires are the best, opinions vary.

One of the better bang-for-the-buck deals is the Accel 300 series right now. Taylor also makes good wires, though I like Accel a bit better, then there's of course MSD and Magnecor & numerous others.

For your vheicle, I would suggest the Accel 300 series, and you can also look to them for the replacment coil packs, etc. for a nice hot ignition that is very cost-effective.
