I got one from obd-2.com. It works great, you should check it out at http://www.obd-2.com

Kelly, where did you get yours? Somewhere in Canada?

Thanks

Nope, ordered direct from obd-2 using PayPal. If you're interested, the folks over at TaurusCarClub.com can get you a really good deal right now - 40% off. That's how I got mine.

Just surf over to their site and check out the details. The scanner works on my 98 F-150 , but not on my 92 Sable

So Kelly, You're using one of these? there looks to be a ton of info avail, I was browsing through the obd-2 page.

What sort of codes have you pulled off your 150? I'm interested in getting one of these, since i just threw a Check Engine light 2 weeks ago and had to get a new o2 sensor.

Any info is appreciated, here or via email, thanks

Bambino,

I basically bought it just to have it. My truck recently ran out of warranty, so I thought it was a good time to buy one.

So, I haven't read any codes yet, but it was worth buying. I found it to be cheaper than the rest (at least with the 40% off), and fairly easy to work with.

If you have any more questions, just send me an email.

The OBD-II's will not work on most of the old non-OBD vehicles...

You might consider a universal model that has plug in modules that can do the brakes and other vehicles as well...
