screech when accelerating

has anyone else heard a loud screech when you accelerate from a dead stop or under 5mph and then let off at about the same time the tranny shifts into 2nd?

I got a screech when it shifts to 2nd after the shift kit was installed, I think it is the belt. Only does it when the foot is on the floor. wish it was the tires, if I accelerate on a curve the tires will chirp or if the road is wet the rearend will break loose. scares the crap out of the wife...lol

Just my going-bald tires! LoL!

In all seriousness, I had a problem with a screech when tranny downshifted from 2nd to 1st for a while; I climbed underneath the sucker and soaked down the tailshaft with WD40 and haven't heard a peep since.

Hope this hepls
