Texas Edition 5.0. I had to tow it home when I was pulling the buggy home. lost power on the side of the road. It would start and then immediately die.


had codes po300, po304, p2195 and p2197

put all new ignition coils and plugs. It will now start but runs at a rough idle and will eventually die. Where do I need to go from here?

 

Also ticking sound while running.

 

Check to make sure that the wiring is OK for the front O2 sensors and nothing got burned/melted or unplugged.

After that check all of your vacuum lines. Again make sure nothing got unhooked, melted or otherwise has holes/defects in it.

 

Ticking sound? Make sure you use dielectric grease in the coil boots and they are all fully seated on the plugs.
