i have a 2010 5.4 3 valve. it dropped a valve and ate it. i need a used block. i plan to transfer my crank and internals to that block. how many years can i go back? i know 2009 for sure but 2009 up are hard to find. how old can i go for a bolt in replacement. thanks.

 

Block and heads from mid-2008. Block only I think can go all the way back, but doubtful about 2004. Pre-mid 2008 heads should work, but you don't want them, it uses the 2 piece spark plugs that break.
