Acceleration issues....losing my mind!!!!

First I'd like to introduce myself as I'm new to the forum. My name is Justin and live in the Chicagoland area. Die hard ford guy for 25 years plus years.

I have a 2010 f150 Lariat. Bought used 4 years ago with only 34k on it. Older guy from Wisconsin who just never drove it. Being 8 years old...with 34k miles it still looked brand new. Not a scratch.

Ok, let me get to the point of my thread. I'm at my wits end trying to figure out what's wrong with my truck. I was driving about a week ago...everything was normal. I get about 5 miles from home and all of a sudden the truck was very sluggish and struggles to accelerate. Very uneven acceleration too. And this happened a day after a fresh oil change. 5-20 full synthetic as always...never go more then 5k miles between changes. To me if feels like a blockage or fuel issue but those seem to check out.

Idles perfectly fine. Smooth as could be. Is NOT throwing any codes at all. Did seem to catch the clicking sound from the passenger side. Always had it but is louder now.

Things I've done or looked into.
plugs 2 years ago.

airfilter is clean and no blockage anywhere in the intake system.

Cleaned the mass air meter using cleaner made for it.

Tried unplugging the vtc solenoids and not much different.

Put a thermal reader on the cats to see if there was a blockage causing heat. Both read about 450-500 exterior temp.

Tested the fuel pressure. 50ish key on engine off. 58-60 at idle. maybe 2 pound fluctuations hitting the gas.

No funny noises coming from the timing chain while hot or cold. No misfires felt or picked up by the ecu.

No funny smells from exhaust. Seems to shift fine until you put the gas the floor. It will hunt the best gear to get it moving. Don't think it's a Trans issue at all.

Any ideas? I'm out of guesses and I just can't seem to find anything online that remotely matches my issues or the ones that kinda did I tried those options with no luck.

I see you are in the Chicagoland area. If you are anywhere near Yorkville, give FordTechMakuloco a shout, you may want to have a pro look at it.

Unfortunately he's booked until August he said. I did ask for his opinion on what it could possibly be but no word yet (via emails) Hopefully he does respond and has an idea what to check out. Id be damn impressed not only with his knowledge but willingness to help a fellow guy out.
