Another 4.6 Engine Swap Question Thread 2011cv->2001f150

Apologies in advance if this question has been answered in another or twenty other threads. We have a 2001 with a knocking Windsor 4.6 and may be able to secure a 2011 Crown Vic PI 4.6 (Romeo from what I have read). Aside from the intake, exhaust and maybe the oil pan and a few electrics, I have seen the flexplates are different but have not seen if they are interchangeable. Both have automatics. So my question is, since we are going Windsor to Romeo, do we just carry over the flexplate from the CV?

Thanks in advance!
Andrew

The CV never got the 3 valve - not even the CVPI.
