4.6 swap

Hi there. New to this site and not to computer savvy. I have a 97 f150 with a 4.6 with a blown head gasket. Found a 4.6 from a 95 Crown Vic. Would the long block be interchangeable? Thanks

Yes, but you may have electronic issues. The 95 is not OBD2.

You will have to see if it has all the proper sensors and places to install them. There also may be issues such as oil filter and accessories mounting locations. The only thing I can "guarantee" is the engine will bolt in to the truck and connect to the transmission.
