Piston Slap?

Newbie w/ a question.
Since I'm a Newbie please take it easy on me.
I am putting off buying a new Supercrew till I found out more about the piston slap issues.
Does it occur in the 5.4 only?
How many miles do you "high mileage guys" have on your engines and how are the engines taking it?

I think you'll find that this topic has been beaten to death on here. Many, many posts on it. Just search for "pistion slap" and you'll be reading for days.
Just FYI, I've got a 97 5.4 with 72k on it. No slap at all. (KOW).
