Hey guys new to the forum. Motor in my 07 f150 5.4 is blown and found a junk yard with a low milage engine for it. My question is my truck is flex fuel and they said they have an engine but its not flex fuel. Would it still work? Can I convert the junk yard engine over to this flex fuel system? Shop would be doing the work. Thank you

 

It will work fine.

 

do they have to transfer stuff over to make it work? Sorry not very mechanically inclined when it comes to vehicles

 

You shouldn't have to switch anything over as long as you do not use E85 in it.
