Anyone know simple out/in swap for 2005 F150 4.6

As stated in the title. The truck had a 2005 F150 XT 4.6 three valve motor. The truck is 4x4. I’m looking to do a simple in and out swap. I don’t need a complete listing “unless someone has one” I’m just looking for a few ideas of easy out and in replacements for the motor. I’m not looking to modify a ton, I simply need my truck back! Thanks in advance for any help and info. I do use my truck for pulling a pontoon and RV so I really don’t want to have a huge drop in torque.

Are you sure it had a 4.6 3 valve? The only 3 valve in 2005 was the 5.4, the 4.6 was a 2 valve. The 4.6 2 valve is underpowered for towing a RV or anything else over 5000#.

And as far as towing, a man has to deal with what he has. I just tow local and I’ve never had an issue.

And you’re right... it is a 2 valve. I corrected the error in the original post... thanks

A 4.6 2 valve out of a 2004-2010 F150 should be a direct swap. 2006 and newer had a bit more power. Other years and vehicles may or may not swap easily and/or have less power.
