Yeah, today I finally got around to cleaning my 5.4L 2V's throttle body. It was crudded up pretty good since it had never been cleaned in 17 yrs and 153k miles. The throttle plate has been sticking for a while and the engine wouldn't idle as smoothly as it used to. It was a fairly easy job and both issues were cured. It idles smoothly and the throttle plate doesn't stick any more. And I have about a half can of throttle body cleaner left over after cleaning both this and my 05 Magnum Hemi's throttle body. I'm very pleased with the result. I used CRC Throttle Body Cleaner. I highly recommend it to you shadetree mechanics out there.
