Question Code P1131

Can any body give me the specifics on this code. I am trying to determine if the dealer is jacking me arround.

From the Hayne's Manual PO131 probable cause is an upstream heated O2 sensor circuit low voltage (bank 1 ).

JMtruck is correct....The 1997-2000 Chilton's manual lists code P0131:

P0131 - O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank no. 1 Sensor no. 1)

I think this is the lean code. Codes are not stored unless there is a continuous problem. Problems: Faulty injector, faulty O2 sensor,(seen lots of these), MAF elements are dirty and causing a borderline lean, fuel pressure low.
Stay with it until it is resolved, you don't want to burn a piston up.
