Question Kenne Bell

I was looking into the Kenne bell supercharger unit and wanted to know if anyone has had experience with this unit. If so how do you like it and is it worth the money?

I don't know much about them, but I went to Vegas for CES and spoke with the Spal manager. He had a 99 Expe w/ that blower. He said it took him 22 hours to install that sucker. He's a car audio installer and 3 others put the suspension and sounds in 3 weeks.

From what I here about Kenne Bell, you can't get a hold of anyone there so it's best to get it from a distributor if you want one.

The Kenne Bell SC is a screwtype charger. This type of SC creates lots of boost at low rpms and doesn't heat the air as much as any other types so doesn't require an aftercooler for mild boost applications.

Mumbly, here on f150online has a kenne bell, he even has pics of it online somewhere. As well Neal, another user has looked into these and even talked to Kenne Bell himself.

From what I know, Kenne Bell has taken the Whipple, and modified it to fit a Ford, and that is what the Kenne Bell is...

IMO it is the best blower you can buy for a heavy automatic trans equiped vehicle. My brother has a Blowzilla for his Mustang (not yet running). He bought it because a engineer at my work has one on his 93 Mustang (stock except blower and MT tires, runs 12.70@109). These blowers are near silent, give great bottom end power, and are of OEM quality and durability.

The only problems are cost and that you need to buy them from KenneBell. KB is very hard to get a hold of (fax is the best way). They seem to have a ****y attitude. Other than that its the best way to go.
