engine replacement
Will a 5.4L V8 SOHC 16V type of ford engine replace a 5.4L V8 (330CID) type engine. Trying to replace the engine in a 2008 ford f150 FX4 with the engine from a 2007 econoline e350

It's possible to replace a 3v with a 2v, but it's more trouble than it's worth and it has considerably less power. The vans never got the 3v, only the F150, Super Duty, Expedition, and Navigator got the 3v.
Look for a late 2008, 09 or 10 engine, it has the redesigned heads.
