hello just informed my check engine light is on due needing a tune up
You mentioned plug remove is a concern due to breakage . How common is this a problem. Or is there a way to be more proactive with the removal process.
I was concerned with a 800.00 quote for performing the work at a dealership.

Plenty more threads here on changing 04-08 5.4 3 valve plugs. 800 bucks is high, find a different dealer. I'd expect 300 bucks plus 50 for each broken plug.

im actually past due to update my thread. Was called to remove a broken plug, and then get the other 7 out after he was scared to continue
