I took my 2003 ford f150 to my mechanic and was told my head gasket blew on 5.4l engine. There is no water color (foam) on the dip stick. Oil between engine and front of cab. At the end of the month I'm getting a second opinion, James thinks it is the intake manifold. What do you think? Linda

 

So it is leaking oil? Is that what is happening?

 

If it's leaking oil on the starter it is more than likely a head gasket issue.
