Question Driving with VCT unplugged???

Now I'm sure this has been asked a thousand time and I've read other forums about it but i can't get a straight answer, so can anyone tell me, is it safe to drive for a prolonged period of time with the VCT solenoids unplugged? My truck has been running since I unplugged it yesterday morning. I ordered new parts and they'll be in today so I won't be driving too much without them.

Anyways, what are the negative effects of driving with them unplugged? Will my truck be fine? Am I looking at any serious damage? Please Help

You won't hurt anything, it will just be down on power and use more gas.

glc is right. I wouldn't drive the truck unless you really need to though.

Problem is, it's my daily driver and I work about 45 mins from where I live. Although I only use it to work and back. The old lady has a '17 lol
