Talking Gee whiz stuff

Hey - did you ever start on a long road trip - set the radio to you station and after about 50 miles it fades out and you have to find another station? No more!

You have AM-FM radio and now you need to replace it with AM-FM-XR. This radio picks up over 100 stations thru a satalite and broadcast them direct to your truck. All sports, all music, all news, etc. what ever you want. And if you make a trip from New York to Calif., the station will not fade out. It stays lock on and comes thur the satalite. Neet huh? What will they think of next. Its called XR broadcast radio thru the satalite. It hear now.

54regcab - the one I heard they were charging $9.00 a month sort of like your cable TV. It would be worth it to get your radio to do exactly what you want.

I understand that aftermarket versions of this radio will be on the market by next year. Some auto companies are going to make them an option on a new vehicle.

Thumbs down

$9.00 a month stinks if it would have ads like cable does.
If there were no ads $9.00 would be a good deal

54regcab - I heard the manufacturer tell about this on my home radio. The signal comes to your truck like the GPS. Very simple and easy. He said GM will make these radios standard equipment in new vechiles. He didnt say about Ford. He did say they will be on the shelves as aftermarket soon.
