I have a 2015 lariat and my moonroof is stuck in the closed position. It will not open or tilt, you can hear it try and make a clicking noise but won't move. The part that is the most frustrating is the sunshade is stuck halfway open. It will open all the way but when I try to close the sunshade it will only make it to the halfway point and stop. Any solutions on what to do? I have done many searches and didn't find anyone w this exact problem. I just want to be able to shut the sunshade so it the inside isn't constantly getting beat up by the sun.

I was told it wasn't covered under warranty

WHY? What's the status of your warranty? It sounds like your stealership is F'ing you over.

And why are you posting this under V8 engines?

 

Well because it is a V8 and I've had it posted in electronics section and never got any replies.
