96 f150 ignition long delay

I have have a 96 f150 4x4 5.0 ... Here is the problem i could turn the key an hold it for up to 5 secs an it would start i thought maybe it was the ignition cylinoid on the fender replaced it an still has delay then i replaced the ignition module also on the fender an still has delay then i replaced the ignition switch module under the steering wheel still has delay then i made sure to double check all the connections they again where all tight starter is also brand new so what is the problem? Also to top it off further into investigating it will crank right up when i stick a screw driver to the ignition cylinoid.

Manual or automatic? If manual, the clutch switch may be dirty.

Automatic, your manual lever position switch(a.k.a. mlps, nss, neutral safety), may be bad or out of calibration. If you hold the brake and put it in neutral before cranking, does it still delay?

Other than that, a failing computer can cause issues like this. Check everything else first, though
