2007 5.4 any better than a 2004?

2007 5.4 any better than a 2004?
Found a low mileage 2007 5.4 3 v engine out of a truck that was I hit in the rear end. Are the 2007 versions and better or the same?

Pretty much the same, but the 07 did have some small improvements.

Thank you. Hate to pay the money for a used one only to have to put a new one in anyway
