As of 01/03/00, Vortech's "super quiet" chargers will be standard equipment in all 4.6, 5.4, & 6.8L systems. The part numbers for these systems will remain the same as before with the addition of the letter "Q" at the end for quiet. For those that still desire the noisy version of the Vortech they are available as well. If you order a system and do not specify which version you would like, you will recieve the SQ charger. For the next 60 days SQ charger systems are available at no extra charge. After that the increase in pricing will be approx. $100. I have heard these new blowers on the 4.6 and 5.4 (the 6.8 is not quite done yet)and they almost dead silent. With the hood down, if you didn't tell somebody that it was there, they would never know it nor believe you when you told them it was. Take care guys and Happy New Year.
