Ford Tech help requested. Do these part numbers look right?

I just got a parts quote from my local Ford Dealer... mostly to get the correct part numbers and then search the internet for better prices. I started searching the part numbers and the piston they quoted me, 3L3Z-6108-CC, says that it's not compatable with my 2007 F150 5.4L 24v GAS engine. The dealer said that this part number supersedes the the older part number 6108.

Any Ford techs out there that can verify this for me? I haven't been able to verify this on the internet.

In case you are wondering, the new piston is needed because of this... https://www.f150online.com/forums/v8...ny-advice.html

I just looked it up and there are grade 2 pistons and grade 3 pistons. Both only have the 6108 number.

The dealer told me that the grade 2 and 3 pistons with part number 6108 have been discontinued and superseded with 3L3Z-6108-CC. But when you look that number up, it shows as only for 2010 model year and flex fuel.

It's still the same engine with the same bore, stroke, and compression ratio.
