Hey everybody, long time since I was last on. Quick background, truck is an'05 150 4x4 5.4 w/273,000 miles on it. Was making my trek back home 1300 miles from Louisiana to Maryland when I got 87 miles out and I lost drive, reverse, everything,pulled over shut er off. Tried to restart and just spins, not cranking over but definitely hear something spinning. I'm afraid it might be the flex plate (again), went out January this year and $730 later it's fixed. If that is it, it's under warranty but I'm 1300 miles away from said warranty. Haven't had it looked at, holiday weekend and all,anyone else have any thoughts on what it might be if something else? Thanks!! For any replies

Did the transfer case lever get kicked into N? Good luck.

 

That is a good question, wish I had an answer

 

Flex plate would be a good guess, with loss of power and inability to crank engine
