2005 F150 5.4l 3V knocking noise

Was dealing with a knock noise before found rocker arm had broken off on exhaust valve when I took of the valve cover on the passenger side. Changed oil to Motorcraft 5w-20 and Motorcraft filter. Has Motorcraft plugs and cops which are new, the new rocker arm. Now I'm dealing with a louder knock which sounds like from that passenger side again. I'm thinking can phaser is what it sounds like but I'm not sure. It's starts to knock at idle when it's warm and then stays, whenever I increase RPMs the knock sound increases. Not sure if it goes away after 1.5k like I've read about the phaser knock. I'll check tomorrow. I will also upload a video through you tubes. Any help would be greatly appreciated as its like one thing after the other lol.

Here's a video of the noise, you can hear it the best when I get over to the passenger side coverage passenger wheel well.

Thanks again for any help/advise!

Sounds like cam phasers to me! Although, could be vct which affects the phasers.

I had the same problems and sounds with my 2005 F150 FX4. First it was replacing the 2-piece plugs, then had to replace the phasers and the knocking went away.

Fortunately for me, I knew a Ford mechanic that did all the work on the side, which saved me a lot of MONEY.

Truck ran great for the following 1 1/2 years that I had it before I sold it.
