It still needs to be flashed with your VIN, which key places can't do.

I think when you order PCM's at AZ you give them you VIN and they order it preflashed. I would check to be sure but it seems like in the past I was considering replacing one and I checked and that was the deal.

Not true. That's what ignition analyzers are for. OP, IF your stealership has an ignition analyzer (NOT the computer) it's probably worth paying $100 for the 1 hour diagnostic. It's the only way to be sure.
