Fingers crossed that the pump fixes it!

 

$866, Gawt Damn! Well at least you can take the Delphi back and get a little money back. Geez...

 

Turns out it was the pump... new Delphi unit I had originally installed was evidently bad....

Looking back, I should have double-checked pressure while cranking the engine - I had only checked it after turning the key to the "on" position (was in rush & working alone... didn't think of it)

Lesson learned.... at least I was on the right track at the beginning - thanks once again to everyone for all their help/suggestions....

 

 

Unfortunately not so fast..😆 Came back from t-day vacation and it still doesn't start... Dealer towed it back to garage... Saga continues... Perhaps the new fuel pump I originally put in was good after all.

Any suggestions on how to approach dealer service advisor? I'm already in for $932 for what has turned out to be a mis-diagnosis.
