It's news to me,
Most of here have agreed you can't get the 5.4L w/manual except with the superduty.
I would have got the 5.4l manual if it was avalible.

Thumbs up

Beechkid,
You got to tell us more about this. Im sure Im not the only one here who wants the 5.4 to have a five speed. Everywhere Ive looked ford claims only autos for it. If your right and this is true and you DO get the 5 speed let us know.

Cool 5.4 & 5 speed!

I was told by my local dealer that I couldn't get a 5.4 with a 5 speed transmission. After I looked very, very closely at the sales persons order sheet I found and a deletion code for the automatic transmission with the 5.4. The salesperson almost choked. My plan is to get the 5.4, five-speed transmission, 3.08 axel, install a JET module, pipes, air filter system. I'm hoping the hp will be enough to handle the tall gears, give me good acceleration and get 20 mi. to the gallon on the freeway if I can keep my foot out of it. Looking for thoughts and suggestions. Thanks,

Jeff
