5.4 start up rattle

as in with my head under the oil pan bellhousing area, its not as loud as it is with the hood open leaning on the radiator

No posts for a couple weeks,did you find the problem? on our 06 5.4 we had a ticking for about 20 seconds on start up. turned out to be a warped exhaust manifold drivers side.pulled the manifold ,after removing and a straight edge it was warped about an 1/8th of an inch. put it on the mill straightened it up , new felpro gaskets and quite till about a month ago .Now its the pass.side. time to do that one next
