Recently bought an 04 F150 with the 5.4. Of course there's no owners manual. Figured from threads I've read that I need the Motorcraft filter and 5w-20. How much though? Is there a PDF on here somewhere with a capacities chart?

 

It takes 7 quarts. Also, you can download a manual from Fords site.

It would also depend on if you have an 04 Heritage (5.4 2 valve) or an 04 new body style (5.4 3 valve).

The 2 valve is 6 and the 3 valve is 7 as mentioned before.
