Thumbs down It can't work in our rigs........

The purpose of this gadget is to swirl the air so when it meets up with the gas, it mixes better. Good idea, and probably actually works with a carborated motor, but it won't work with multi port fuel injection motor.

Just think about it. This thing is installed ahead of the 90 degree bend in the air pipe. Any swirling effect is removed when the air has to make this turn to head towards the thottle body opening. The fuel is introduced to the engine directly in the cylinder at the same time the air is getting there. That's when it's mixed. Any swirling effect of the air is long gone by then.

Just my own theory and don't have any proof of this at all, but I can't see how this would work with our motors?

Lightbulb Search!

There has been a lot of discussions about the Tornado system as well as other "air enhancers" such as throttle body spacers. The bottom line is that none of these really work on our motors...
