Angry Bearings

Last Thursday my wife said our Chevy was vibrating badly when she hit the gas. Chalk up another main bearing problem with the 5.3. She likes Chevys, and when the new engine arrives, I'm probably going to have to pry the Ford from her. Edmunds.com the Silverado is rated better. I find the Silverado better in rear seat room, shorter driver comfort and engine power only, who's doing the reviews? How can some neutral testers say the Chevy is clearly superior and others the say the Ford is? Handling is handling , power is power, where is there a gray area? I hate to say it but I think the best and most neutral road tests are from Consumer Reports magazine.
