engine swap

what are the chances of putting a 4.6 out of a 94 towncar in a late 60s or early70s pickup

You can swap just about anything you want. Nothing will bolt up if that's your actual question. Also you posted this in "questions about the site" so I doubt anyone else will respond.

It would be a lot easier to lift the body off the whole Town Car and drop an old pickup body on the frame........

To do a swap, you would need a fully equipped fab shop, a compatible transmission, a PCM/TCM, and custom wiring harnesses, plus who knows what else.

And the panther chassis has 1000 times more R&D than the 60s or 70s truck chassis did
