HI!... CABRACO : I went to my local FORD dealer about 6 months ago and can get the "REAL" LIGHTNING ground effects kit for about $1100 (CAN). That includes being painted from the factory and including all the mounting hardware. The only thing extra that you have to buy is the front driving lights. By the way the LIGHTNING uses the same painted bumpers as the F-150 SPORT and STX. If you look under APPERANCE PRODUCTS, back quite a few months you will see my post on this and all the part #'s that you will need to order them from your dealer. The rear bumper is the same as the sport package, however the front bumper is totally different. I've seen both and the front bumper on the sport package is not in any way like the front bumper on the lightning. The front airdam on the sport bumper below thebumper is dark grey abs plastic/no lights. The front lightning bumper has to be painted, but the rear does come prepainted. If ya look at this pic the front bumper on tha lightning is all one piece, whereras the front sport bumper is 2 pieces with the gray air dam hanging below.the ground effects kit has to do with the stuff on the sides below the body as shown in the pic. Those do come prepainted.

I was wondering if I can order all of the ground effects except for the front bumper in a different factory color, such as a pacific or moonlight blue?

Neal, Post the name of the dealer you spoke with, the guy Im talkin to is givin me a different story. He has not shipped the parts yet. I did look at the sport package at a local dealer, and the air dam below the bumper is definately different. I'd like to call your guy and see what he's gotta say

HI!... CABRACO : When I mentioned that the bumpers (plural) were the same as the Sport/stx, I meant just the back bumpers were the same not the front.

I would like to put the lower part of the Harley Davidson front bumper on my truck.
It would give me a little bit of the lightning look, but without replacing the whole bumper.

 

Where can I get a good look of the the Harley Davidson front bumper? I'm curious as to how it looks.
