Spark Plug Comparison Question

So i have a 97 F150 with a 02 engine 4.6 V8. I ordered plugs and wire set from rockauto but realized i had ordered plugs for a 97 instead of an 02. The 97 Part # is SP-432 and the 02 part # is SP-493. I dont see any difference besides the Center Electrode Tip Material being Finewire Platinum instead of Platinum. Will these work with my truck or will i have to order the 493s. Thanks in advance guys!

Hi.

You'll be fine.

Next plug change, get the '493's.

Don't fergit the dielectric grease, and the proper plug install torque ( 28 ft-lbs, dry - no anti-seize )

Refer to http://www.blownoutsparkplug.com/faqs.htm FAQ's # 51 & 52...

Thank You for the confirmation! I didn't realize the mistake until a day after, and really didn't want to hassle with returns. I will get 493s from now on. I cross referenced the Sp-413 to match both years just right now
